Happy 75th Anniversary!

My maternal grandparents were married on July 18, 1942, on an army fort post chapel (later sealed in the Logan Temple), and at ages 95 and nearly 97, celebrated their 75th anniversary this week! This is a milestone only one in 10,000 couples reaches in America--.01%--but they've always been extraordinary, so we're not too surprised at another achievement.

They have nearly one hundred family members/descendants (their first great-grandchild was born on their 50th anniversary, and their second great-great-grandchild expected in December will make #100), all grateful for the blessing to still know and love GFW and GMW.

We had a Pioneer Day concert that their children put on, a family ancestor parade with the great-grandchildren, and shared a bittersweet family gathering: their oldest daughter, my amazing aunt, passed away that same night. It was truly a circle of life time to be together and share love and eternal bonds.
